We have found that the standard leather collar sizing just doesn’t work for all dogs. From our previous sales, we have found that our customers want custom collars and leads but didn’t have access to high quality leather workers at reasonable pricing. We love horses and dogs and good leather bridles and collars so we had to find the best local harness makers that could custom make our collars and leads. Start by measuring your dogs neck with a soft measuring tape or a string. DON”T pull it tight and there’s no need to put your fingers in between. You can also measure the existing collar if it fits comfortably. See photos. If you have questions, please ask before ordering so we can get it right the first time. It’s always a good idea to let us know what kind of dog you have as well. Our Bridle leather is very durable and our soft pebble leather lining protects your dog from irritation or rubbing. We have created matching leather leashes with the same quality leather and padded handle for YOUR comfort as well. We can also add a movable 2nd handle that some people like for training or for safety. Our custom collars and leads are normally made and ready to ship in a few days. We think you’ll find they’re worth the wait.
